Letter to Komi-san

Dear Komi San,

I know this is a letter, and I should be addressing you by your first name(which is Shouko. Don’t think of this as an excuse. I didn’t forget your first name), but truth be told, I just don’t feel that we’re close enough to address each other with our first name. So I’m going to take a sort of a formal approach here.

Actually, this letter I am sending you is a way for us to know each other more, since we’re both inclusive and want to explore the world more, so, it’s a win-win, I guess.

I really envy you though, such a beauty. Everyone respects you as if you’re a queen! Its really a shame to NOT take even a bit of advantage of that and here I am, just trying to even mingle among others, failing spectacularly at that.

Maybe that’ll happen to me sometime soon. Someday, I’ll bump into some extroverted girl who’ll just adopt me and eventually I’ll be on my track to make hundreds of unique friends who care about me in one way or another.

Speaking of friends, how’s Tadano? He is your closest friend, maybe a bit too close, am I right?

Now, I know, you’re too shy to admit, but you and Manbagi are in love with the guy. I can tell. It’s……actually pretty easy to tell.

What itches me the most, is HOW ON EARTH are you both still friends!? And even good ones at that!!

It would not surprise me that you didn’t want to let her go, cause….,you know, she is truly a gem in a coal mine and friends like there are very hard to find.

Anyway, tell Tadano and everyone that I said hello.
